Water tank

Water tank

Refilling the water tank is a very critical process for most steam cleaners – even those from well-known brands! Usually, the tank valve can’t even be opened while the appliance is hot and under pressure. That means waiting until the temperature has dropped enough for the safety switch to release the valve. And that can take a while – a nuisance if you’re in the middle of cleaning.

This is another case where the Thermostar shows how practical and clever its technical concept is: the water tank can be refilled at any time, even during operation! A dual-chamber system makes this possible. A pump feeds water from the storage chamber into the pressure chamber, which makes it impossible for steam to escape, and the appliance doesn’t need to be turned off. This way, the Thermostar can run 24 hours a day without interruption if necessary. Even though, unlike the industry, one doesn’t tend to clean around the clock at home: it is a practical feature in any case! And a safe one, too.
